VUDU isn’t picky. While we recommend pairing VUDU with a high-definition or enhanced definition television (in widescreen or fullscreen formats), VUDU will work with any standard definition television. VUDU’s proprietary encoding, decoding, and up-converting technology enables HD TV’s to show off their best audio and video capabilities.

Please note that you will need to use the HDMI connection from the VUDU box to your TV to take advantage of the HD content available on VUDU.
