The VUDU box requires no more than 12 VDC at 2 Amps. Use only the authorized power supply and AC cord, provided by VUDU.  Also, please note that you must UNPLUG the VUDU box from a power source before moving it, even slightly. Failure to do so may cause significant damage to the hard drive, resulting in loss of data or functionality.
